Discover Lana Grossa Summer Softness, a light and soft knitting yarn made from a natural blend of cotton and fine merino wool. This yarn is ideal for breathable summer garments such as tops, cardigans, lightweight sweaters and shawls.

Composition and structure

Summer Softness consists of 80% organic cotton and 20% merino wool. This unique mix offers both breathability and gentle warmth, perfect for spring and summer days. Each 50g ball provides about 130m of yarn. A medium-sized sweater requires around eight balls.

The tube yarn construction gives volume without heaviness. It is suitable for larger needles (5.5–6 mm), resulting in a soft, airy finish.

Needle recommendation and gauge

Recommended gauge: 17 stitches and 22 rows per 10 cm on needles 5.5 to 6 mm. Wash gently at 30°C, lay flat to dry and avoid fabric softeners to maintain softness and shape.
